Solar Eclipse 2017 & 2024

Postby postholer » Sat Feb 27, 2016 8:42 am

We've added the path of the solar eclipses' for 2017 & 2024 to the Postholer Google Maps!

This is a major event for the U.S. Totality will last 2 minutes to 2 minutes 40 seconds, depending on location. This will be a must see!

The 2017 eclipse will cross the PCT just north of Park Ridge near Mt Jefferson, OR. On the CDT it crosses near Dubois, WY just north of road 600. It crosses the AT between Big Butt and Bearpen Gap, NC, several miles north of the NC border.

See where it crosses your favorite trail. Go to the Postholer Google Map, select your trail. Then in the 'Skins' list box on the right, scroll down to the 'Solar Eclipse Paths' section.
