Transportation from Seattle to Rainy Pass on September 3, 20

Postby tanasi » Mon Jul 11, 2016 12:53 pm

Hi All, we are planning to hike from Rainy Pass to Manning Park the first week of September. We are trying to figure out transportation on both ends.

I think we can take an airport shuttle to Burlington WA from Seattle. Anyone know of person/company who would shuttle us the rest of the way down Hwy 20 to Rainy Pass? If not has anyone hitched at that time of year with success?

From Manning Park I understand there is a daily Greyhound but it picks up at 1:50AM going towards Vancouver. Anyone know what the taxi fare might be to the nearest town with better bus/train service? Or a shuttle company form Manning to Vancouver or Seattle?

If this just doesn't work out is there another section north of Stevens Pass we could try? With an easier shuttle? We would like to do 70 miles ideally. We have already done Stevens to Snoqualmie. Thank you!
