Kennedy Meadows

I'm hoping to do a section hike this year from around Ridgecrest to Tuolumne Meadows. I was just wondering what sort of facilities are at Kennedy meadows; I am from the UK and so cannot send any food packages from abroad, so my plan was to buy food/dehydrate food from the general store at Kennedy meadows before sending it out to various post stations further up the trail, I was just wondering if this would be at all possible and whether Kennedy meadows has a functioning post office and general store with food.
If not can you think of a better alternative?

Yes, you can do a resupply from Kennedy Meadow Store. It is pricey and the selection limited, but mostly hiker centric food.
