RBH Designs VB Clothing with Pack

Vapor Barrier Clothing for my Hike

Subject : Vapor Barrier Clothing for my Hike

I am testing a set of RBH Designs Vapor Barrier (VB)
Shirt, Pants and Socks on my hike. VB items normally
are only thought to work at or below freezing (32
degrees - F) I believe with the optional venting
ability of the RBH VB items I can wear them up to 60
degrees "F". The advantage of the VB Clothing is that
it can be worn day and night for the length of your
hike or till you sleep-over in a trail town. VB
clothing is worn next to your skin and will keep all
sweat from getting into anything on top of the VB
items. VB clothing will keep you warm but you don't
want to get to warm. That is why being able to vent
when necessary very important.

I will carry two pair of VB socks and wear one pair
during the day and change to a dry pair for night.
The day socks should dry out over night. This also
gives me a chance to dry out and clean my feet before
going to bed.
