Intro

A few months ago a friend invited me to join them on a day hike to Annapolis Rocks, Md. So Maggie and I loaded up on our first real hike. With no relevant gear, we began what would be the first journey of our most favored past time. With epic views a head and her by my side we have set out many of morning in search of the great outdoors. Experts we are not but this has started a craze, on my part, for the beauties that await. With several hikes behind us and a gear junkies mind Ive decided to share our adventures, finds and opinions on things along the trail.

Maryland Heights
Harpers Ferry to Gathland Md
C&O Canal
Louden Heights
Many of these favorites will be visited again. Primarily day hikes, to get a feel for gear and comfort levels. Recently we've been getting into lightweight backpacking and hammock camping. Journeys to follow.
