So, this is a journal

So, I've decided to try out the journal feature offered here by the fine folks at postholer.com. I didn't intend to write anything today but the site informs me that a journal entry is necessary to be able to view this journal.

Rather than cut this entry off at just a couple of characters I am taking advantage of the fact that I have 15 minutes of free time before heading off to earn a buck for the day. One of the harder parts of making the decision to hike is leaving behind my work. I have a job that I like and I have no definite assurance that when I approach my employer about taking time off to hike that they will go for the idea. I am going to hike either way, but I sure would love to cone back to this. Speaking of such, my time and thus this entry just got cut short due to a call from work.
