Rolling along today

I just realized that I put the blood Mt shelter picture down for yesterdays
pic of the Hostel. So I'll show the Hostel Pic today.

Walking was pretty easy today with a bunch of short hill climbs and wide smooth trails for the most part. I contimplated walking the whole 30 miles to Springer today. A few hours walking in the dark wouldnt be bad. But as it started to get dark I got that hankering to get off my feet and lay down for 12 hours. LOL. I loaded up with water at a very small spring. This way I could avoid the .2 walk to the Shelter and spring beyond. I could hear folks at the shelter breaking tree limbs, gathering wood. Only 8 miles from finishing my long walk. See ya tomorrow

The Appalachian Trail (A.T.) is more than 2,175-mile long footpath stretching through 14 eastern states from Maine to Georgia. Conceived in 1921 and first completed in 1937, it traverses the wild, scenic, wooded, pastoral, and culturally significant lands of the Appalachian Mountains. Learn more:
