Day 4

Tough but fun day! It was so nice out all day. Warm enough that I started out without base layers on which was nice. At the end of the day, a bunch of us ended up at the same shelter, so we all hung out around a fire. There are people from all walks of life out here. We tend to walk alone or in pairs during the day, and congregate on breaks and when done for the day. I'm getting spoiled with trail magic! There was a group of people about mid-way today with soda and snacks. Im not a big soda drinker, but that coke was delicious. Got to Low Gap around 3, but it was nice to break early and rest my feet. It became a really social evening, which was great too. As with most people out here, I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing right now.
