Subject: April 19th training hike with Bongo
We are slowly getting our life in order for the 6 months away while still knocking off stuff on our trail to do list.
Huge thank you to Wendy Willis for volunteering to take our parakeet "Gus" while we are gone. There is still the option to adopt!
Bongo and I went out to the Cape Horn trail, about 25 min away, and did a power hike for about 2.5 hours up and over the hill and back down. She is primed and ready for the trail. We have not done many multi-day hikes with her but I think she will be up for the task if we ease her into the trail at the beginning like we would with anyone else. We have been working on her trail manners and she has been great!
