Planning my hike on the Arizona Trail

Sent off Grand Canyon Permit Application

I faxed the Grand Canyon Permit request--it has to go out 4 months before your proposed entry date. I also completed my master planning spread sheet on a day in the Mexican village of Barra de Potosi--I stayed at a great bed and breakfast called Casa del Encanto. See pic. It hasn't sunk in yet that I am going to re-enter the Arizona trail in March. I am also making 1-2 backpack meals a week and putting them in ziplocks to make the last minute preparations easier.
