Decisions, decisions

While we have section-hiked the AZT before, we are hoping that this year, the spring bloom will be special. Arizona has had more rain this winter than in the past few years, so there should be some annuals popping up. We had thought about hopping over to N Mexico's CDT, but love the Sonoran desert. N Mexico can wait!

We are lucky to live in Arizona, so although we will officially hit the trail in April, we can get a bit of hiking in beforehand. Last year, the temps hit 100 in April, which was unusual. Hopefully, we can get a bit north before that happens this year.
