Parker Lake

Parker Canyon to Middle Canyon

Got a daybreak start with ADL, Cupcake, and Beans. Nice easy walk to start and there was much needed water just down the trail. We quickly came upon a dirt road as ADL and I got to know each other. We were having so much fun, we passed the trail turn off and logged some easy bonus dirt road miles until we found the trail again! Thanks Guthook for the app.

It was a rather easy day with gradual grades, but was warm most all day. After a few miles, we were able to look back on the Huachucas that everyone agreed took there toll. Beautiful mountains and glad to have them behind us. We had a nice lunch break at Parker Canyon where we got cold water and cooled off. Life really revolves around water out here!

We made it to Middle Canyon where a previous hiker said there was water on the Guthook app notes! After about 18 miles we were ready to stop and camel up. It is a wonderful evening as I enjoy the sun's lower angle.

Beans and Cupcake are continuing on, while ADL and I are stopping for the night.
