All Systems Go

I'm excited about the upcoming adventures. On Friday, my wife and I leave for Colorado for about a month of camping and house stays. I look forward to spending time in the Collegiate Peaks, the Elk Mountains, Hunter Fryingpan Wilderness, and the San Juans. I hope I don't get tired of hiking prior to the Colorado Trail start! As a backpacker, it is hard to forget about how much our camping gear weighs or the volume it consumes. We will even have ice!

I plan to post some pre-trip information about our day hikes in the first month. So if you are interested in day hiking in the above areas, stay tuned.
