Paul and Steve on the PCT, 2008

He's baaa-aaacckkkk

Hi, I'm Paul Fitzgerald. You may remember me from such previous postholer journals as "Steve's (Stilts) PCT Adventure." Last summer, my brother Steve (a.k.a Stilts) hiked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail, and I kept a journal for him here on postholer. Now we're at it again. Starting on June 15, 2009, Steve will be hiking south on the biggest, baddest trail of them all: the Continental Divide Trail, or CDT. Steve's plan is to enjoy all that the CDT has to offer for two months before returning home to Portland, Maine in mid-August. The resupply packages have been assembled, the maps purchased, the gear tested, and the resolve strengthened. Now it's almost time to get out there and live the dream. Join Steve as he tackles the last step in the coveted hiker Triple Crown!
