Got into Creede last night. Started off great with a hitch from other hostel Ge?st very early in the morning to Monarch Pass. So had an easy day to Marshall Pass were we staid in the hut. Very nice place. Outside we had a bit of frosting. It go progressively colder. The last night we had 26 degrees in the morning and having cowboy camped had ice on everything. It's getting Fall for sure. Up in the open colours are changing to yellow and red. Crossing the kind of bassin was a windy thing. It was already late when Steady and I arrived at the cutoff for Creede. At start of 4wheel road a truck was parked but no one everything showed up. On the gravel road passed the mine was no traffic either. We were about to set up camp at dusk when a single car showed up. We got a ride into town on their way back. Yippee! This ment a room for the night and no freezing plus a townmeal for dinner. Tomorrow on to Pagosa Springs.
