The finish line

I have done it. At noon I completed my thru. The first day out of Creede was a nice hike with mostly well to reasonably maintained trails. But day two turned out to be the opposite. Reasonable until the start of the Sawtooth Trail. How can ansonsten call this a trail? Blowdowns have been at various section. Uphill too. But both combined with a trail that totally disappears completely for long stretches need to be beaten. Once we were on the ridge we had to take cover from a thunderstorm. But heck, it's the second last day. After a good nights sleep half a day of hiking was to be done. By noon Steady and I arrived at the Wolf Creek pass. Skeeter arrived soon after to take us to Pagosa Springs for a celebration meal.
Thanks to everyone who followed me. More will soon come on my webpage Hamburger-wanderjung.de
