(3) Pack resupply boxes...DONE

(4) Visit doctors to make sure I can do this hike without causing additional major damage to my knee and compromise my work season next winter...TOMORROW

Yes, it's true. I suffered a lateral meniscus tear about 2 months ago, and despite somewhat conservative treatment (ie, PT, but no surgery) it's reallly not getting any better. What's strange is as soon as I stopped skiing last week it seemed to get worse. Go figure. At this point there's not much I can do but try the hike, wear a brace, and be uber-careful. Of course, if I think I'm causing additional damage, I'll come home and take care of it. I want to live my dream, but I need to be realistic as well. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't experiencing a ton of anxiety about this issue. So, wish me luck with the next few items..

(5) Go visit my folks...SATURDAY

(6) Fly west and meet up with Analog...WEDNESDAY

(7) Start walking to FRIDAY
