Walk them Shoes Ragged

Not a Double, make it a Triple

WAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Here we go all. This makes it real, the beginning of the journey entry. I, Laugh Track, and stoked to have you all along for the longest... and hopefully grandest... thru hike escapade of them all. Thanks for taking a look see. I hope you'll be happy to hop skip and jump along with me.
To get things started... let me introduce myself and this journey.
My name is Lizzy Corliss a.k.a. Laugh Track. I worked on two different Student Conservation Association (SCA) Crews during 2010 and 2011. They completely altered my life path sending me into a Parks Tourism and Recreational Resource Management Bachelors degree at the University of Montana....
Post degree, these crews also inspired me to complete thru hikes in 2014 and 2015 on the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail. Both of these experiences were incredible studies of trail maintenance, resource management and stewardship, health and wellness, and social interactions around our public lands.
There is one more hike I am now preparing to complete starting this June, 2016. It is the final jewel in what is called the "Triple Crown" of thru hiking. I will be taking on the Continental Divide Trail. This will start in Montana's Glacier National Park and follow the rocky front for about 3,100 miles to its finish in New Mexico.
I want to use this hike as a means of giving back... "Paying it forward". I want to hike FOR something particular. At the completion of this trail my hope is to make a large sum donation to the SCA.
Karen Davis from the SCA's donation office said in a recent e-mail, "We are very excited at your idea of including SCA on this journey. We are starting to map out different components of our marketing plan for the upcoming year and this may fit in nicely with some of the other elements we are developing."
I have developed a Go Fund Me page to publicize this action. In this New Year I am now launching this project. The hike will begin mid-June. I am now beginning the fundraising effort. Please check out the page and let me know if you are willing to be a backer of this project.
Here is the page:

Please feel free to send questions, comments, ect. my way. This entire project will be about the SCA's success. Please join me in ensuring the funding of our future Natural and Recreational Resource advocates and managers, developed by the SCA.
Thank you so much for your participation,
LT
