Drier conditions. It was also hotter. Met a northbounder at Bannack Pass. Up high in the afternoon, thunderstorms threatened but only resulted in sprinkles. Very glad to get to Buffalo Springs. Started seeing more deciduous forest. Camped across from Gardner Mtn.
