One state down (NM), now CO. Blog site...
Howdy folks... I've made it to Colorado on the CDT!
I've found cut/pasting code and photo uploads here on Postholer to be... too much work.
I've finished New Mexico and taking a break in Chama, before heading up Cumbres Pass and into Colorado. Even with a low snow year (in Southern CO, really...), these sections will be no joke. Serious. Daunting. There's plenty of snow on north sides remaining and it's deeper the further west you go in the Weminuche. We're going to try to get to Wolf Creek, then perhaps the Creede cutoff. Elmwood if we must, and hopefully not the Divide Alternate.
