Georgia O'Keeffe and Dogs
Georgia O'Keeffe
After "seeing" the Georgia O'Keeffe painting of clouds while walking in the Gila Wilderness, I drove to Santa Fe and spent a few hours looking at her landscape paintings at her museum. I wish I would have seen them before I hiked. I would have enjoyed incorporating her aesthetic into my appreciation of the landscape. I could definitely see the trail scenes in her paintings. I had another great dinner with Sue and Paul and friends. Bought some Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA--the first decent beer I've had on the trail. I have about 50 IPA's waiting for me at home that I brewed and that should be ready to drink by the time I get home.
