Mt. Shasta
Road Trip
Got a late start. Sad to leave home at this most scenic of times in Ashland--flowers blooming, trees budding, grass green. Uneventful drive through Reno. I have been looking forward to this road trip approach to the Hayduke. I have been flying to trailheads. I haven't done a real road trip for years. I used to road trip all the time in my 55 Chevy Panel Truck--crisscrossing over the US, going to and from seasonal firefighting jobs.
