New Backpack
Well, I finally bit the bullet and opted for a new backpack. If there was ever a time to invest in new equipment this is it. My current pack was 85 Liters and made by Gregory. It has served me well, but I always struggeld a bit with its size. We were at REI picking up some last minute items and I decided to head over to the pack section. Got Measured..found out I really need a "Small" not a "Medium" which I currently have. Opted for the Osprey Ariel 65 Liters and Love it!! So much lighter and some great compression features that my other pack did not offer. It was a chunk of change, but when going 200 plus miles, equipement can make or break the whole experience. Stay tuned for how it actually performs on the trail.
