Today I'm 50!
Today I turn 50, which was part of the original inspiration for our trip--do it before you can't. Nat and Lily follow me around screaming "Midlife crisis! Midlife crisis!", but the more I deny it the more true it sounds. "Sure, Dad you're not having a midlife crisis. I think I'll just hike the John Muir Trail with bad knees and a gimpy back! No denial there!" is what she said last night dripping with sarcasm. It all started because I asked her to do the dishes so I guess I deserve it (I wonder where she gets it from?)
