Looking at the massive Asbestos Mine

Another 23 miler

I woke up on this morning at 4:45 and got out of camp by 6:00 I was moving pretty fast and went over some difficult climbs that day, but to my surprise there wasn't anything that interesting going on that day. There was the climb up Mt. Belvidere which was very long and quite steep as well. At the top of Belvidere there was a fire tower that had some incredible views to the north, as well as a good look at a massive asbestos mine.

When I showed up that night a litle after 7:00. I talked to a nice Canadian couple who had been southbounding the trail so I had a pretty good idea of what was coming to me. It had been a long day so I packed my meal with protein and made sure to stretch out my entire body so I could go an even further distance the next day. I was laying in my sleeping bag that night when I realized that I would finish the trail the very next day. I couldn't wait to be done.
