Oregon Coast Trail Day 30

A nice and quiet final campsite and then 2 miles of angry ocean beach
walking to Patrick Point. That's our current finishing point. Initially we
had planned to do the Oregon Coast Trail and the further 100 miles into
California we just did, but we've both enjoyed the coastal trails so much
that we want to come back and do the remaining 1,100 miles of the
California Coastal Trail. Not sure when, some summer soonish. So many
trails on the to do list that it's hard to fit them all in.

We loved our 500 miles on the coast but now it's time to get back to the
Desert Trail! We will be taking a bus from here to Redding. Getting a
rental car for a week. Driving 1,100 miles through Nevada and California
while burying 15 water caches, 3 food caches with the water and several
more food drops at businesses. It promises to be an exciting week! Then we
drive the 600 miles back up to Reno and start walking south on the Desert
Trail from Lovelock for 2 months to the Mexico border at Jacumba. I'll
switch back over to the DT journal shortly.
