South of Tule Springs

Another looong day.

I was on the trail before sun up and the day ended 30 minutes before dark. I played hopscotch with Eric Paul all day and we're camped at the same site.

Also today I met Chris and Sue from Canada, eh. Good folks, we talked for about an hour at a water stop.

The trail climbed for most of the day and much of it was spent in the pines. Near the end of the day it descended back into the chaparral wasteland.

I'm now in Riverside County. Whoo hoo!
