Big Bear Lake

Big Bear

After 2 zero days here in Big Bear, I'll be hitting the trail again.

In the last 2 days I've seen the following hikers: Pete, Drew, Eric & April, Tom & Tom, Luke, Brian, Rank Ranger & Lotus. Did I miss anyone?

I've visited the same eating establishments as I did in '02. La Paws and Thelma's still rock, but Firehouse Ribs still sucks. Fortunately, it's for sale.

All the usual activities were engaged, laundry, eating, shower, eating, post office and eating. However, this time I did my shopping at Stater Bros instead of the Village Market. Thrilling, eh? My spare water filter has been retrieved from my drift box and the old stored for spare parts.

Also, like last time, I stayed at Motel 6 (We'll leave the light on 'cause that ol' light switch is broken, too). The ice machine was very dependable, though.

So with that, I'll see you in Wrightwood.

Have fun!
