Time to go backpacking...
Welcome to our PCT journal! This is a chronical of our thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. We intend to keep it up to date with our pre-hike progress as well as updating during the hike. We'll start at the Mexican border sometime in April and slowly, hiking 20 miles or so a day, make our way to the Canadian border. If all goes well, we should arrive sometime in late September. 2650 miles and 6 months of backpacking!
(We included several journal entries about the inspiration for hiking the PCT and about preparing for the trip for those of you thinking about hiking it. If you'd rather skip straight to the trip, start at the April 21 entry.)
