A Little Snow Outside Our Back Door
Warm up Hikes to Get In Better Shape
My wife and I are hiking weekends and a couple times during the week to build up our trail legs. We're mainly day hikers, doing out-and-back hikes all around the San Gabriel mountains where we live. The whole PCT section D area and surrounding parts are my "backyard," and I love getting out there for the day.
My goal is to build up to 2-day 1-night hikes up in the mountains this summer. We should be there in about a month or 2.
