My clean feet

Pie, I want PIE!!!!

I got up around 5:00 unable to sleep because of the howling wind in the meadow, so I broke camp and hit the trail at 5:30. With my mp3 player blaring, and my body rocking I ad but one mission, pie. I wanted to get to Julian as fast as I could so I could have a real meal. Since last night I had some horrible mac and cheese, I wanted nothing more than pie, ice cream, and root beer. So, booking it at full speed I made it so Scissors crossing at around 12:30, and was into Julian by 1:00.

I got a hitch from a wonderful woman who never intended to pick me up, she just pulled to the side of the road to check her voice mail. So I leaned in the passenger window and told her where I was headed. She was a little shocked, but gave me a ride since I have such a charming face, and a horrible oder.

Well at 1:15 I sat down to eat at Margarita's, a GREAT place to eat. The lady who ran it was a gem, and it filled me up in all the right places (for 15 min). Then I walked over to Mom's Pies, and my Nothing (or god as some would say) was it a good slice of pie. Afterwords I went to my hotel room and enjoyed a great 11 hour sleep.
