What a great day!

What a great day! I spent the majority of the day relaxing at the hot springs and driving some balls on the golf course. After those grueling activities I ate lunch with some other hiker trash (other thru-hikers) and began getting ready to head off towards my next destination.

I set off at around 2:45pm and passed through a cow field. That was weird. All the cows watched me go by and I in turn just watched them. After the field I went about 5 miles till I found a sandy beach along a trickling creek. I stopped there for about an hour before continuing onward.

Around 7pm I made it to the top of this ridge overlooking a rocky valley at sunset. The valley was glowing purple in the setting sun as I set up camp for the night. It was great! I cowboy camped (no tent) with about 8 other hikers on top of the ridge, and settled down for the night after another perfect day on the PCT.
