I was hiking down a revenue when I came across a sign telling me there was a sign down the road. So, knowing I could grab a beer I went to the store. There I came across a film crew doing location scouting. I say hello, and I was greeted with a frosty shoulder by all the "cool" LA people. This made me laugh, because I might as well of been one of them. I could be some douche with an undeserving ego thinking I'm cool because I work in Hollywood.
The longer I've been on the trail the less I think I'll go back to LA. As much as I like the city, that is not me. I am a small town mountain guy. I love the people I come across in these towns, and I feel that is where I should be. Tahoe maybe? I guess I still have 2000 miles to figure out my future, but for now I'm just going to hike.
Also, it was great to get to Hiker Heaven today. The Saufly's are great people, and it's nice to be with all the other hikers tonight.
