Training

We're trying, we really are. the packs go on in the morning, we walk to work, we walk home, enduring the stares of passing cars who probably think the homeless people are dressing better lately... (Doesn't help when we pick up the aluminum cans as we go along.)

Short Whine: It's hard to train in Montana in the winter. Training here involves a considerable amount of road walking, and all too often the roads don't have much of a shoulder. Sometimes the two ton vehicles with their drivers don't seem to care much either.

But hey, as a neighbor and friend says 'you hired on to be rugged' and so we persevere. We're not getting in the miles that would be ideal, but we won't hit the southern start completely soft either.
