Fox Creek Spring - Waterless

Another food entry - my appetite might be coming back (not surprising after long milage days). These are the things I thought about these last hot 4 miles to my current shade tree. No particular order, I'll take anything ice cold right now.

Cindy's shepard pie - a 'bakery ladies special' with sausage at the No Sweat Cafe (make that two!) - burger & milk shake at Matt's Drive In - a burger at the Pop Stand with Wilcoxin's Ice Cream for desert - Tess' angel haired pasta with pesto, Parmesan & shrimp - a BLT or just a bagel & cream cheese from the Bagel Works - Rainier Ale(s) & popcorn with gracious company next door.... .... these are just a few of my favorite food things. Oh, throw in a garden ripe tomato, just off the vine.

Just watched Devon arrive under my tree, take off his pack & jog off to check a side trail. Amazing.

Later - left a half hour after D and followed bear tracks about a mile that were superimposed on top of his. Spooky but cool. Felt better when they turned off.

Hot, not much water. Felt better though - camped here at Fox Creek Spring and the ruins of an old mining mill. Just too tired and now it's too late to check it out.
