As good a trail marker as any, I suppose

Short day from Warner Springs

Today we took a short day so that I (Kim) could sleep in to try to take care of my cold. It didn't really work, as I still have it, though all of my brains are melting and leaking out my nose, so I don't have much of those left. Brent thinks it's cute how I now refer to 12 miles as a "short" day. I suppose it's all relative - compared to 24, it's really short!

We found a really nice campsite tonight, and were able to watch the moon rise over the desert. I tried to take pictures, but you know, pictures of the moon never really turn out. The extended exposure one is okay, but not nearly so cool as the real thing.
