Some notes on the desert

Knowing that we'll be going right back into the desert soon enough, here are some closing thoughts on the Anza-Borrego Desert (this is mostly from earlier in the hike, :

- I may have already mentioned that there are very few things in the word that smell nicer than a desert in springtime. So nice.

- There are lots of neat reptiles in the desert. Those of you who know me know how cool I think this is. There are tons of lizards, horned toads (who are really also lizards), snakes, and other beasties. Keen!

- It's really dirty and dusty. I get icky toes and socks.

- Though it may be beautiful, fragrant, and have lots of neat stuff in it, I'm not sure that I have to come back anytime in the near future.
