It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

Peanut Butter Jelly Time

One thing that happens to hikers when they are by themselves all day is that certain songs will get stuck in their heads. As a general rule, the more annoying the song is, the more likely it is to get stuck in your head.

That being said, I decided to mess with Steve on Saturday by leaving him a voice mail message of his "favorite" song: "Peanut Butter Jelly Time." For those of you who have never heard this song before (as I had not prior to hiking with Steve), here's the link to youtube:

Apparently, this song has become very popular on the internet and is even played at professional baseball games. Steve managed to get this song stuck in his head while I was hiking with him. Even though I had never heard it before, Steve somehow got it stuck in my head too! I thought Steve would appreciate it if I returned the favor.

Steve covered about 35 miles on Sat. I wonder how many of those miles he walked with "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" playing over and over in his mind?
