Burney Falls

OLYFUCITSCOLD

So in the morning I checked the store register. If I only had cell service I would have gotten texts from Truant and Heresay telling me where they were. Truant and Heresay had left and I ran into Pedro. Four days I figured for them to get to Shasta, I could zero and still catch them easy. Kara and I took a swim in the falls and it wasn't as cold as the water was in the sierra mountains, but a constant 42 degrees. People have been pulled out and ambulances called for swimming in the pool. I had to try it. Only after I was in the pool did I think about the camera. By the time Kara found it in my shoe, I was ready to get out and quick. Later walked down to the lake and did some cliff jumping into a very warm Burney Lake. Completed a hot day with a trip back to Subway Cave, and some cold sodas. Back to camp for Jiffy Pop and some new game of dice that seems like it could really catch on. I also got some great music to add to my mp3 player. Anyone heard of the Afro Celtic Sound System. Mom when you read this check them out. Konnie lives in Ashland and invited me to stay when I get there. I will definitely. Seems like a cool town. This was one of the nicest zero days so far.
