Training on Redwood Creek Trail

Eric and I continue our planning and training for next year's PCT quest. The first 8 months of this year have been filled with hiking and lots of biking. We have more miles logged biking but cross-training is good! Most of our hiking has been done in the Arcata Community Forest. We did a short hike this summer along the Redwood Creek Trail in Redwood National Park. It was an easy 16 miles round trip with flat terrain and cool weather. Recently we've started adding to our community forest hikes by wearing backpacks. Starting to get our shoulders in shape! We're planning a trip to the King Range soon for more of a challenge! As time permits, I have started to plan the day to day of our 09 trip.
