Nutella, Nutty Bars, and Mashed Potatoes

So I've gotten my food together and set up all of my resupply/maildrop information. Food and such is a lot more troublesome than I thought...3000 calories a day (at least) is what I will be consuming. A cup of mashed potatoe flakes, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, and a pinch of garlic salt is perfect for camp food...just add 2 cups boiling water and wait for the magic to happen. and that has about 600-700 calories.

Nutty Bars (you know, the chocolate covered peanut buttery wafer things that come in 2 packs) are great because they are extremely calorie dense. My friend Jake mentioned weight gainer (protein powder type stuff), and it'd be a great idea to take some. Nutella is going to be a great treat as well, and I've come to realize that it can make anything taste good, even the hardest, driest crackers.

I'm just about set to go. The plan is to leave on Friday. Yeah...in like...30 hours Friday.

...and of course the weather forecast says a 40% chance of rain on Friday and Saturday. Hahaha. That is going to be lovely.
