Where is the PCT?
bear
I just finshed my foot therapy for today. Now for a short bike ride. I just robbed this overview map of the PCT from my hiking partners journals site.
One thing that has helped my foot problems even more than physical therapy and prevented reacurrance is my orthodics. The best place that i have found to purchase them is from doctors orthodics online at http://fromwww.doctorsorthotics.com/ . For a couple hundred dollars they will make you the same orthodics that you would get from a doctors office at 1/4 the price. They send you a box with this impression foam inside. You simply open the box and step onto the foam. From this impression they make you a superb pair of orthodics. In a doctors office the Doc charges you a few hundred to open the box and mail it off for you. I was using superfeet insoles before, now I only use custom orthodics for trail running. backpacking and everyday wear. They feel good and are slim so that they fit into my trail runners easily.

The Old Ridge Runner Journal
Picture #1 This bear picture was taken near my campsite on the AT last year. That was my second year of participating in the Predator Wildlife Study for the Smithsonian Institute.
