I sent today's journal picture to tomorrows date. It will overwrite later. No service in camp now.
Yesterday i ate microwave stuff from the store. Burrito hot pockets, popcorn, tomato juice. Breakfast was another half pound ham and cheese burrito, coffee and juice. Dinner tonight is freeze-dried.
We met pie heading south who plans to turn around and hike north after the kickoff. He did at in 2006. Right after mail pioneer trail there was a fantaztic hang glider launch site. We did not wait to see one fly. There was water in the tank, spigot worked and 3 gallons of trail angel water too. We got about half liter each. Later we watered at sunrise tank for camp and our next water is at rodriegas. We expect to camp near scissors crossing and hit Julian early for resupply with enough food to make warner springs.
We are in the anza boregeo desert.
I wish i could be sharing all the great pictures that i am taking. Oh well they should make a god dvd presentation after the hike. Coyotes howling in the distance
