Looking back at the Sisters
Oregon Day 12
I made it to a town today. The town of Sisters, Oregon. I headed out at 6:30 and the first few miles were very, very tough. Again it was over very big lava rocks. It made the going very slow. There were no leg problems and very, very few mosquitoes. There were some nice views of Mt Washington, but it was blocked most of the times. There were some very nice over the shoulder views of the Sisters, also. I made it to Highway 20 at about 1:45. The option then was to hitch to either Sisters or Bend. I had sent a package to Sisters, though all the thrus I had met told me that Bend was a better option for a zero. So I was undecided.
