Weird morning
Rain or Mosquitos - your choice
I knew the day would be unsettled when mosquitos swarmed me as I got out of my tent this morning and then it immediately thundered. The mosquitos waned as I left the lake basin area and headed down toward Fish Creek and up to Tullys Hole. Then the rain started which got rid of the mosquitos. At Lake Virginia, I took a long break - sunny and no mosquitos; then headed to Purple Lake; then Duck Creek where the weather got electric. Should I stay or should I go? -- We have already done that song lyric. I went and got very wet - fortunately my pack stayed dry. Things cleared and I dried out by the time I got to Deer Creek. Jeez, there were a lot of mosquitos.
