End of this years journey

It was just as big an adventure getting home from Lake Tahoe as it was on the trail.

There was no room on any flight from Reno to Seattle until Tuesday and I got to Tahoe on Friday. I moved from the flea bag motel to Motel 6 for 2 days and did the touristy things in Tahoe including playing in a low buy-in poker tournament - that cost me $ 40 and I was the bubble boy meaning the last person out the tournament before payouts began - bummer. Then I took a shuttle to Reno and stayed one night at the El Dorado. I am not particularly impressed with Reno. Then Tuesday, I flew "Southworst" and enjoyed their cattle car approach to customer service.

I got home Tuesday evening to find that my niece had a great dinner prepared for me - BBQ ribs, salad, hot bread, fresh fruit, cheese cake - yummy.

When I absorb all of the things that happened on my summer adventure, I will add another entry. Already, I know that the people I met on the trail and those that helped me on the trail will be at the top of the list.
