Pacific Crest Trail Map

mile 2118-2136

On trail by 7 am- but had 2 forks of the Muddy Forks River to ford, plus bolders to scramble up. took half and hour just to get thru them. The fords were ok, even tho we culdnt see the bottom. Some great views of Mt Hood. Stopped every hour for a few minutes so Luke could eat. Passes Lolo pass- warched men playing on their backhoes. We made it to Lukes camp by 2 pm. We exchanged email addys and I continued on. I get to Indian Springs Campground by 4 pm. I have cuts in my ankle, they look infected. dont know how I got them. Soaked them in cold water and put salve on them. May wrap with ace tomorrow. Debating on taking a shortcut the guide book talks about. Will decide in the morning.Sam is supposed to meet me so Ill try and be on trail by 6 am. Saw 8 hikers today, one frog, some grouse. Saw Limp again this afternoon. I had got ahead of him. Ice Axe just walked thru camp. I had been following his journal so it was great to visit with him.
