Its been fun preparing for my 2009 thru-hike on the Pacific Crest Trail, but frankly, I am ready to start walking the walk. I've got my supply boxes addressed and labeled acccording to the Yogi way. The gear is assembled minus a few things. Maps-check, guide books-check. I'm stocking up on dehydrated meals and snacks. I've read my share of the online journals and forums. I've notified my family and friends of my plans. I've hiked the PCT in my sleep. I am ready to start walking. Isn't retirement grand!
