Coachland RV Park-Truckee, CA

Tahoe National Forest

Our next RV base camp distination was Coachland RV Park located near Truckee, CA located just off Interstate 80 near the I-80 PCT Trailhead. During the next twelve days we day hiked the PCT South and North of the I-80 PCT Trailhead and North from Barker Pass. We really liked Coachland RV Park situated among the Tahoe Pines with tolerable road noise drifting in from I-80 traffic. our PCT dayhiking was fabulous as the PCT stays high on the Sierra Crest much of the time in this area with great views.
