Shasta off to the East Getting Further Away

Cruising into Etna

Good day today, mostly because my hip hurt very little. Maybe not
pushing it too much yesterday payed off, plus it was only 21 miles to
Etna. First stop, Ray's market for peanut butter and M&M's, then the
drug store for a hot fudge sundae with cookie dough ice cream! Etna is
very small but very friendly. Staying at the Alderbrook Manor in the
"Hiker Hut" with Chief Daddy, Old School, Cloudbuster, and newly named
southbounder Foghorn.
So far a Disney teen movie and a ridiculous program called Manswers
have been the entertainment. The vodka bottle is shrinking and I'm
wondering what kind of sleep I'm going to get tonight. Got my ear
plugs though and some Ambien if I need it. I'm on a top bunk so it's
going to be hot. Hoping to get a ride in the morning from some nice
gals staying at the B&B side of the Manor.
Heard from Shin and the brothers today. Shin's about 5 days ahead of
me leaving Ashland tomorrow and the brothers 180 miles behind but back
on the trail looking to catch me.
Best Regards to everyone! Thanks for your support.
